The Steps
2019
In August, Helen Patmore Marketing was launched. Inspired by motherhood and created out of the love for what I do–telling stories–this is the start of my next chapter.
2018
Became a first-time mother to my beautiful daughter, Emily.
2017
Completion of the ‘Confident Copywriting’ course – UAL: London College of Communication, in October.
2015 – 2018
A brand ambassador for ECCO Accessories, ensuring the seamless integration of all ECCO Accessories marketing activities within the global brand of ECCO (involving monthly travel between the ECCO HQ office in Denmark and the ECCO Accessories office in Switzerland).
Mentor & Manager to marketing Interns at ECCO, coming from a network of Business Schools and Universities across Denmark. Intake of a new Intern every 6 months during the period January 2015, to June 2018.
ECCO White Space Bronze Award (2015) for my ‘Retail Imprint Initiative’, quoted as being ‘Just on trend – personalisation and instant value towards customers’. The concept was to offer customers an in-store experience whilst at the same time, building the brand of ECCO Leather Goods. An embossing service would be on offer to personalise their ECCO Leather accessory in selected stores where ECCO Leather Goods were in focus.
2013
Founded my first Marketing Consultancy (Helen Patmore Marketing Ltd.) operating from Denmark and the UK. Offering strategic and tactical marketing resource to SME’s to international organisations, in order to grow their business and strengthen their brand.
Developed and implemented new brand identity for The Lansdowne Club–A Club for Life–which is still in use today. This included the launch of the new, annual Lifestyle magazine, which formed part of £20K marketing project. Effective collaboration with external creative and design agencies to deliver on time and on budget.
Redesigned The Lansdowne Club website to include SEO initiatives to improve natural search rankings and visitor experience. Redesign included: improved navigation, enhanced member extranet platform, addition of online booking platforms, integration of social media streams, new intuitive CMS. Results included increased organic visitor traffic by15% month on month.
2011
Promoted from Marketing Manager to Associate Director of Marketing at JLL.
2010
Nominated and awarded the Jones Lang LaSalle Retail Award 2010 by the JLL EMEA Retail Leadership team. Recognised for contributing to cross border impact. I received strong client endorsements which demonstrated connectivity between the Retail business teams, transference of Retail Intelligence to deliver business wins whilst differentiating JLL’s unique from the competition.
Retail 2020 campaign short-listed for the JLL Da Vinci Award 2010. Led and project managed the largest ever JLL pan-EMEA Retail research and marketing campaign. Retail 2020 was a thought leadership piece, forming part of the long-term Retail business strategy to increase revenue by 50% in 3 years. Key results included increased revenue streams, high profile press and media coverage, raised profile of the EMEA Retail team within the retail industry and connectivity amongst the (previously fragmented) regional EMEA team, by instigating business winning initiatives, including a series of face-to-face client events.
2007-2008
Won, on behalf of Churston Heard, industry Marketing awards for Brand Presence and Best in Class exhibition presence at BCSC (British Council of Shopping Centres) in 2007 & 2008. A successful collaboration between the company and design agency.
2006
Founded the Marketing function and first Marketing Board at Churston Heard comprising the CEO, Financial Director & 3 Lead Directors. Tasked with a mandate to develop the first corporate marketing strategy to govern all marketing and PR activities including internal communications, corporate identity, value proposition and mission statement.
2004
The birth of my marketing career. At IQPC, I was responsible for marketing, delegate registration, venue liaison, on-site event management and budget reconciliation for 5 conferences per month across Europe (for industry sectors: Finance, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, HR, Shared Services and Defence).
